thanks congressman Chris Smith and Mr. Gibson for getting this bill passed.I know Chris you have been fighting this bill for a long time. I thought I would never see the day that this devastating disease would finally get recognized I was bitten in 1987 , was treated for 3 days of iv antibiotics . In 1993 I had a major panic attack , was told I had ms. went to see a lyme dr. treated me w/ iv antibiotics for 3mos. which put it in remission for 7yrs. but was never my self the whole time.2014 now it’s in my brain -spinal cord and am having trouble walking have lots of pain. Many other symptoms. There are no dr’s up here in Montana that are willing to treat me. Hopefully this bill will change that. Thanks again Carl Burrows

Thank you, Mr. Gibson, Mr. Maloney and Mr. Smith for shepherding this important bill through the House! Research and change are so, so needed….and fast! As a mother of a adult woman with the chronic disease, I will share that it is devastating to watch so many doctors deny the existence of Lyme as a chronic disease, and to watch those doctors committed to the cause to have so many problems within their profession. We hope and we pray for breakthroughs in treatment, but first we must acknowledge the problem, learn to diagnose it, and find treatments that will be effective with this complex disease. Thank you again for beginning the struggle to get out of the “dark ages” of Lyme disease. Now on to the Senate!!!
