Take Action Now! Sign the Petition For IDSA to Redo the Vote and Revise Guidelines!!
The IDSA is currently violating its antitrust Settlement Agreement with the Connecticut Attorney General and manipulating the voting process to ensure that the vote results favor NO change in the guidelines. We, the undersigned, petition the IDSA to stop manipulating the voting process for revision of treatment recommendations and to re-do the voting process for the IDSA review panel in compliance with its antitrust Settlement Agreement with the Connecticut Attorney General.
These guidelines leave patients sick and suffering without recourse and must be revised. Failure to timely diagnose and treat these patients poses an enormous cost on society at large as many of these patients suffer a disability equivalent to that of congestive heart failure. The IDSA guidelines do not represent the best interests of patients, result in unacceptably high failure rates for all stages of Lyme disease, and deny patients with Lyme disease access to the antimicrobial treatment options necessary to restore their health.
