“The Quiet Epidemic,” a new documentary film about Lyme disease, will make its US premiere at the Mammoth Lakes Film Festival in the Eastern Sierra Mountains of California on Friday, May 27, at 6:30 p.m.

The film sheds light on the struggles of those who live with chronic Lyme disease and the history of the disease itself. The film’s co-directors are both Lyme patients and felt compelled to tell this story due to their personal experiences.
