Your voice matters! Join phone call campaign for Kay Hagan Tick Act
From the Center for Lyme Action:
We need your voice! Congress is considering the Kay Hagan Tick Act Reauthorization, and your call could make all the difference.
Please take just 15 minutes today to join our national call campaign and urge your Members of Congress to support this critical legislation.
Follow the instructions on this campaign page.
The Kay Hagan Tick Act does the following:
.
Implements the National Strategy for Vector-Borne Disease (introduced in 2024): Expands research, improves testing, and coordinates efforts across federal agencies.
Reauthorizes the Regional Centers of Excellence in Vector-Borne Diseases: Ensures continued research for surveillance, prevention, and outbreak response.
Renews grants to state health departments: Strengthens state-level infrastructure to better detect, prevent, and treat Lyme and other tick-borne diseases.
Every call shows Congress that this issue matters to constituents. Together, we can ensure continued investment in the prevention, treatment, and research of tick-borne illnesses that affect nearly half a million Americans each year.
