Lyme TV’s PSA pushes Congress to renew Kay Hagan Tick Act

LymeTV, a non-profit advocacy group based in Maine, has released a powerful Public Service Announcement asking Congress to reauthorize the Kay Hagan Tick Act.
Congress first passed the measure in 2019, authorizing five years of federal funding to combat Lyme and other tick-borne diseases.
It was named in memory of former US Senator Kay Hagan of North Carolina, who died from complications of tick-borne Powassan virus.
That funding is about to expire. It’s time to renew and strengthen this vital legislation.
