“Invisible International” re-launches as “VectorWise CME”
VectorWise CME, formerly known as Invisible International, has officially relaunched with a renewed mission and focus.
The organization is dedicated to providing virtual, free, evidence-based continuing medical education (CME) on vector-borne diseases to frontline healthcare providers across the country.
The following is from the official announcement sent out by VectorWise CME:
Why now?
Because vector-borne diseases are on the rise — and spreading fast. Climate change is reshaping ecosystems, extending the range and seasonality of ticks, mosquitoes, and fleas. That means more human cases of many vector-borne diseases like Lyme disease, anaplasmosis, ehrlichiosis, West Nile virus, and even locally acquired cases of malaria.
At VectorWise CME, we’re meeting this moment with urgency and scientific rigor. Our CME courses are taught by leading clinical and research experts and designed to help healthcare providers stay ahead of these fast-evolving health threats. All of our courses are accredited by AAFP and VectorWise CME maintains ACCME accreditation.
Rooted in the One Health framework, we understand that human, animal, and environmental health are deeply connected. Our mission is to bring this understanding to the front lines of clinical care, where it’s needed most.
What’s new?
- We’ve added a new board of directors and a distinguished advisory board of clinical and scientific experts to guide our work. Meet the team →
- We’re releasing new CME courses over the coming months — including a much-anticipated module on Alpha-gal syndrome.
- Stay tuned for exciting program announcements, including strategic partnerships and a robust and novel physician-education program designed to deepen clinical expertise in this rapidly changing field.
We’re thrilled to be back and energized by what’s ahead.
