From the Center for Lyme Action:

In good news, we are excited to announce that the House Appropriations Committee has approved the following increases for Lyme, alpha-gal, and other tick-borne diseases:

+$2M for CDC Vector-Borne Diseases (now 65.3M)

+$10M NIH Lyme and tickborne disease research setting the new minimum spend to $110M

+$0.5M CDC Lyme Disease (now $27.5M)

$5M LymeX to be managed by the HHS Office of the Chief Technology Officer

The House Appropriations Committee approved the Labor HHS Appropriations Bill on September 9 with a vote of 35-28. This bill is awaiting further action for a vote on the House floor, and we will keep you updated as we learn more.
