Clinical trials for Lyme disease now recruiting across the U.S.
The Clinical Trials Network (CTN) for Lyme and other tick-borne diseases is a national research program designed to find better treatments for people suffering from these illnesses.
It was established with support from the Steven & Alexandra Cohen Foundation and is coordinated by Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
The CTN prioritizes clinical trials that explore therapies for both acute and persistent Lyme disease.

There are currently seven studies that are actively recruiting patients.
These are located at leading academic sites across the United States, including New York City (Mount Sinai Medical Center, Columbia University), upper New York State (SUNY Upstate Medical in Syracuse), New Jersey (Hackensack Meridien Medical Center), Maryland (Johns Hopkins University), North Carolina (UNC at Chapel Hill), and California (UC San Francisco).
