This bipartisan bill keeps our national response to Lyme and other tick‑borne diseases strong by sustaining critical federal programs launched in 2019. Reauthorization would:

• Require HHS to maintain and update the National Strategy for preventing and controlling vector‑borne diseases.
• Continue funding Regional Centers of Excellence to drive research, surveillance, and outbreak response.
• Renew state public health grants that expand prevention and strengthen infrastructure.

With 500,000+ Lyme diagnoses each year and tick‑borne threats like alpha‑gal syndrome and Powassan virus on the rise, continued federal leadership is essential.
