The ABCs was the LDA’s first handout on Lyme, designed to target the schools. It’s small, simple, and well-designed graphically.

“The information in it blows people's minds when I do in-service training in the schools,” says Sandy Berenbaum, LCSW, BCD. “I was very excited when it came out. It was the first piece of comprehensive information I had to give to schools.”

The ABC’s of Lyme Disease features important information especially for parents and educators from such noted authorities as Lyme expert pediatrician Charles Ray Jones, MD; neuro-ophthalmologist Eric Singman, MD, PhD; psychotherapist Sandy Berenbaum, LCSW, BCD, neuropsychiatrist Brian Fallon, MD, MPH, director of the Columbia Lyme Disease Research Center; gastroenterologist Martin Fried, MD; Richard Horowitz, MD, expert in tickborne coinfections; rheumatologist Andrea Gaito, MD; Al Tagliabue, Med, learning consultant; and pediatric neurologist Dorothy Pietrucha, MD, FAAP.

“The information in it blows people's minds when I do in-service training in the schools,” says Sandy Berenbaum, CSW-R, BCD.
