Make A Display

Springtime – height of the nymphal tick season – is the perfect time to try to increase peoples’ awareness of ticks and Lyme disease. Here are some suggestions for making your own display which your local library, public health, clinic, school, bookstore or other public building may allow you to put up. Or, you can sign up for the next health fair or get a table at the county fair.

You may include a stack or container full of brochures from your own state health department, or, if they do not produce a Lyme disease brochure, contact the Lyme Disease Association (www.lymediseaseassociation.org) for some of their brochures to put with your display, for people to pick up. If you don’t own a printer, don’t despair – an alternative is described at the end of this article.
