2011 LymeDisease.org Lymewalks:
2011 LymeDisease.org Lymewalks are planned for Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, and Sacramento this fall. Our purpose is two-fold: raise the public profile of Lyme disease and raise money for Lyme research. We'd love to have you join us in person. But even if that's not possible, you can take part in this event wherever you happen to be.
Following our simple directions, you create an on-line fundraising page which tells YOUR Lyme story. (Make it personal to you, with photos or even video.) Say why raising money to help cure Lyme disease is so important to you.
Next, you email your page's link to your friends, family and colleagues. You can also share it on social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter. This allows other people to learn about Lyme disease, and makes it easy for them to give a secure, tax-deductible donation to Lyme research in your name.
